The Gardening Club invites residents to join them for their next Zoom talk on Wednesday 17 February, 7-30pm, “Garden Bugs; Cohabit, Control, Conserve”. What are the good and bad bugs we often find in our gardens and what should we do with them? What do we do when foreign pests such as the Spanish slug invade our gardens?
Dr Ian Bedford (AKA the Bug Man), formerly head of entomology at the John Innes Centre in Norwich, now advises pesticide manufacturers on reducing the environmental impact of their products, and gardeners everywhere on invertebrates in their gardens. Read more at gardenclubspeaker.myfreesites.net
