RCPC’s Response to Consultation on EHDC Local Plan 2021-2040
After Rowlands Castle’s own Neighbourhood Development Plan was approved, East Hampshire District Council (EHDC) is now consulting on its wider Local Plan for the District.
The Consultation runs from Monday 22 January to Monday 4 March.
The proposals in EHDC’s Local Plan will help shape the future of the East Hampshire District until 2040. This Consultation will give residents a say on housing, employment sites, infrastructure and the environment in parts of the District outside the South Downs National Park.
To encourage feedback and responses, EHDC has kindly provided a Southern Parishes focused “Section 12 – the Site Allocations” document, reducing the existing Section 12 from 206 pages down to 50. This document can be assessed via this link: EHDC Draft Local Plan 2021-2040 – Southern sites
