As required, Rowlands Castle Parish Council (RCPC) has launched a Consultation on its proposals for Finchdean, Woodberry Lane, Durrants Road and Manor Lodge Road, as approved under Hampshire County Council’s Community-Funded Initiative. The Initiative allows local communities to fund straightforward, minor traffic management measures within a limited framework. Previously, it was used to install picket-fence style gateway signage and railings on Manor Lodge Road, and similar gateway and other signage plus lining on Finchdean Road.
The proposals are available to view here:

We had hoped to publicise the consultation and proposals at the Annual Parish Mtg on 27 April but sadly current pandemic restrictions meant the event had to be cancelled. As well as being available to view from this webpage, we will endeavour to make the proposals available to view on RCPC’s noticeboard near the Londis shop. The Parish Office is currently closed to the public, however staff are still accessing the Office when needed and can supply hard copies of the proposals upon request. Notification of the Consultation has also been posted on the Parish Council’s Facebook page and on Grapevine.
The Consultation will culminate with an Agenda Item at the Parish Council’s Mtg on Monday 8 June 2020 at 7pm, to be held via Zoom Video-conferencing, unless Govt restrictions are lifted beforehand.
Residents are welcome to comment on the proposals, both in writing beforehand and/or in writing or in person at the Meeting itself.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact the Parish Office – see Contact.
