As required, Rowlands Castle Parish Council (RCPC) has launched a Consultation on its proposals for:
- Woodhouse Lane (just before Bowes Hill);
- Redhill Road (by the mini-roundabout system),and
- Approaches to The Green (on Finchdean Road and Redhill Road).
These proposals have been designed and approved by Hampshire Highways, under Hampshire County Council’s Community-Funded Initiative.
The Initiative allows local communities to fund straightforward, minor traffic management measures within a very limited framework.
Previously, it was used to install railings on Manor Lodge Road, picket fence-style gateway signage on several of the roads approaching Rowlands Castle and Finchdean, and other signage and ‘dragons’ teeth road markings on several roads in the Parish.
