Council Staff

The administration of the Council is managed by the Clerk, who is the Council’s Proper Officer and also its Responsible Financial Officer. She is a paid employee who is answerable to the Council as a whole. She provides advice and administrative support, and takes action to implement Council decisions. She is assisted in this task by the Administrative Officer to the Council, the Facilities Officer (focussed on The Parish Hall and The Recreation Ground), the Groundsman & Pavilion Cleaner for the Recreation Ground and the Administrative Officer for the Parish Hall.

The Clerk is line managed by the Staffing & Remuneration Committee, and all other Council staff are line managed by the Clerk.
