There is a vacancy on the Parish Council for Rowlands Castle Ward, caused by the resignation of Cllr Victoria Matthews
A by-election to fill this vacancy will be held if, within 14 days (not counting a Saturday or Sunday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Good Friday, Bank Holidays, any day appointed for public thanksgiving) from 16 September 2021, ten electors for the Parish give notice in writing claiming such an election to the Returning Officer. The address of the Returning Officer is East Hampshire District Council, Monterey House, Bedford Road, Petersfield GU32 3IJ
If no such notice is given, the Parish Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
