Local residents will be pleased to hear that the flag pole on The Green has been repaired and a bright and shiny new finial has been fitted on the top. Many thanks to local resident, John Ainsworth, for his time expertise, to Jan and Josh Halliwell of Exterior Living Rooms (RCPC’s grass cutting contractor) for their time without charge, to an unknown customer (Steve?) of The Fountain Inn for his assistance, and to our very own Flag Mistress, Barbara Openshaw, for ‘master-minding’ operations. RC Good Neighbours is also considering funding the repairs, which is very kind.
